Wearing hijab is a sign of strength and freedom to live and express myself in my own way while still holding onto my beliefs and values. Not one time, have I felt that my hijab is holding me back from something I would like to pursue. Freedom is all in the heart and mind and not on the body. We are not tied down by hijab, but by people's conception of how a hijabi should look and act like. I have travelled to many parts of the world and I have always been amazed by how beauty can be so diverse taking every shape and form. And muslim girls are no different. Every hijabi has a message to tell the world that she sends through the way she wears it. So let every girl write her message with her own unique brush!

The Hijabi Crop Top

Ive been dying to share this outfit with you all. Im trying out a new style that I haven't warn before and now im hooked. I was inspired by a lot of the crop tops I saw being warn over long sleeve tops not just by hijabi bloggers but non-Muslim mainstream bloggers as well. What made me do it was seeing this gorgeous over-the-shoulder lace scalloped top and not wanting to wait to wear it only for girl parties (if you're wandering, I purchased it months ago - in keeping with the #nonewclothes challenge ;0)
