Modest Oscars 2012

Was it just me or were this year's Oscars Academy Awards the most

PFH its ever been? Even Red Carpet analysts were discussing how modest Hollywood's new look has become. Many of the dresses at the Oscars and the Oscars Vanity Fair after parties were jaw droppingly elegant and modest. I will say though, my absolute favorite gown was Louise Roe's Black Halo styled dress. You won't find it in stores or on runways because it was custom made for her. Tufaha Laptop Stickers: What's on Your Laptop?

Golden Globes 2012 PFH Red Carpet

This year's Golden Globes' red carpet was full of celebrities donned in PFH couture looking their finest! Many of the gowns that could be suitable for a hijabi or for women who prefer to dress modestly, are floor length, long sleeves, covers the chest and neck, and overall aren't too form fitting. While these gowns may not fit the hijabi description entirely, suffice it to say they are an inspiration to bringing back the beauty in modestly clad women!

Laura Dern wears Andrew Gn on the carpet.

Helen Mirren in a midnight blue Badgley Mischa gown.

Jessica Biel wearing a long-sleeved Elie Saab gown.

Julianna Margulies arrives in a purple Naeem Khan.

Kelly Osbourne in blue Zac Posen gown.

Michelle Williams, also best dressed nominee, in a navy and black Jason Wu dress.

Sharon Osbourne dons a black and white floral-printed Naeem Khan.

Tilda Swinton arrives in a Haider Ackermann dress/suit.
